Synthetic Love

The Italian choreographer Erika Silgoner will join RIDCC for the second time. This year Erika will join with the duet “Synthetic Love”. The duet is a paradoxical relationship between a man and his anthropomorphic frustration, the distance between the dreamed love and the inability to realize it, is the violent distance that man himself wants to take from real emotions, as if to protect himself from pain …. from a new, inevitable failure.
What do you wish to cause with your choreography?
I would like this work to create uncomfortable suggestions in the viewer, to stimulate them to think, to leave them full.
I believe that RIDCC can create new connections, artistic elective affinities, and different and stimulating points of view.
