Partners RIDCC 2019
The RIDCC partner institutions provide the contestants with a wonderful opportunity to work on a project at their dance company. These partners are convinced of the need to create more opportunities for choreographers and they are keen to play a proactive and practical role in this. Scapino Ballet Rotterdam
The winner of the Scapino Award will receive the possibility to create a new choreographic work for Scapino Ballet Rotterdam.
As the most long-standing contemporary dance company in the Netherlands, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam is at the forefront of Holland’s internationally renowned dance culture leaded by artistic director Ed Wubbe since 1992.

Club Guy and Roni / Poetic Disasters Club
The Poetic Disasters Club from Guy and Roni will offer a research of 2 weeks to their chosen winner, with the possibility of a full production afterwards. The winner will work with a group of 6 until 10 international young performers. An interdisciplinary cast what includes dancers, actors, and musicians, in their last year of education.
The Poetic Disasters Club is a joined initiative of Club Guy & Roni, Noord Nederlands Toneel (NNT) and Slagwerk Den Haag (SDH). It is dedicated to the creation of fresh and contemporary repertoire, performed by a young international ensemble of an interdisciplinary cast.

Conny Janssen Danst
The winner will receive the opportunity to present their duet, shown in the competition, with dancers of Conny Janssen Danst during a short national tour of DANSLOKAAL, a talent development production by Conny Janssen Danst.
Artistic director and choreographer Conny Janssen has founded Conny Janssen Danst in 1992. Conny Janssen Danst is one of the leading modern dance companies in the Netherlands. The work of Conny Janssen is widely known for the strong physical and theatrical power of the dancers and the surprising diversity of her performances, in which high-quality dance is always central.

Codarts Rotterdam
The winner of the Codarts Award will receive the possibility to work with Codarts dancers on a mutually agreed production.
Codarts Rotterdam is an international university providing high level professional arts education in music, dance and circus arts. The dance department of Codarts (formerly the Rotterdam Dance Academy) is one of the leading institutes for contemporary dance in Europe. Codarts offers bachelor programmes in dance and in teaching dance, a Master in Arts Therapy and a Master programme in choreography. Graduates from Codarts can be found all over the world in successful careers in their respective fields. The aspiring dancers of Codarts have the opportunity to gain experience through artistic collaborations with a wide range of choreographers and teachers.

Dansateliers
Dansateliers will offer a two weeks research residency with full support of the Dansateliers team in the form of dramaturgical coaching, practical planning and how to communicate about their work. Three presentations are planned at the end of the residency, with an audience talk to generate feedback along the process of creation.
Kristin de Groot, director of Dansateliers: ‘RIDCC allows a nice peek into a wide range of duet works by emerging choreographers. It’s taking place in Rotterdam, allows all participating dance organizations to come together and exchange on the various works. It is interesting to see how choices are being made, each organization choosing a different work/choreographer to be selected. It reflects our ability to see quality in a variety of works.’
Dansateliers is an independent house for contemporary dance based in Rotterdam. The organization plays an important role in the development of emerging dance artists, by facilitating customized trajectories for research, creation, production, presentation and distribution. Coaching is provided artistically, but also on a level of production, budgeting and organization. Dansateliers is co-initiator of projects researching possibilities to broaden choreographic practices in various contexts. Through all it’s activities the organization ensures an ongoing nurturing of the national and international contemporary dance field. Dansateliers is a member of the European Dancehouse Network.

Maas Theater en Dans
One week studio availability in the Maas theater en dans production house in Rotterdam plus one performance in their beautiful theater Maaspodium.
Maas is a company of professional makers who make theater and dance for children, young people, young adults, their families and friends. The Maaspodium is a theatrical nightspot with a dynamic and cultural content. The company Maas makes quality theater and dance in all shapes and sizes.
