Winners RIDCC 2026

The winners of RIDCC 2026
Following a festive finale of the RIDCC, the winners have been announced! Out of the 16 talented choreographers only one could win the XL Production Award. After a long and deep discussion Attempts Left by Adam Khazhmuradov  was chosen as the big winner of RIDCC 2026.

The jury about Attempts Left: “The work showed a strong and distinctive concept, a clear identity, bold choicemaking and an elaborate sense of composition. The opening image, the atmosphere created and the movement vocabulary captivated the jury’s imagination into an intriguing universe. Both dancers were sharp and greatly precise in performing the movement, which contributed to the strength of the work. The use of light, space and soundscape became an integral part of the choreographic concept, resulting in a complete work where all elements harmonized, which made the piece stand out. The jury perceived this work as powerful, original and daring with a clear and authentic artistic signature.”

During the final evening the audience had the opportunity to vote for their favorite duet and the amount of votes was overwhelming. The winner was the powerful duet Mother May I by People Watching (Sabine Van Rensburg & Natasha Patterson). Over 2000 people voted in total and €1500 was received as prize money for the winner.
