The winners of RIDCC 2025
Following a spectacular finale of the RIDCC, the winners have been announced! Out of the 16 talented choreographers only one could win the XL Production Award. After a long and deep discussion VISCUM by Noé Chapsal was chosen as the big winner of RIDCC 2025.
The jury about VISCUM: “The jury was deeply impressed by VISCUM, praising its sharp, strong, powerful physicality as well as the clear intentions visible throughout the performance. The energy remained constant, with subtle details that kept the audience engaged. The connection between the performers was bold and confident. They were able to charge the space with expectation and energy while simultaneously bringing nuance to the movement quality. The piece reflected the choreographer’s maturity and a clear vision for the work he or she wishes to create, showcasing clear tools, skills, and artistic qualities. The jury sees great potential in this voice and is curious to see how it will continue to develop in future creations.”
During the final evening the audience had the opportunity to vote for their favorite duet and the amount of votes was overwhelming. The winner was the touching duet RAKKE by Louis Thuriot and Patricia George. Over 2000 people voted in total and over €1500 was received as prize money for the winner.
Besides the XL Production Award and the Audience Award there were also twelve Partner Awards to be given out. Here is the list of their winners:
